Louise Cascone
LOUISE CASCONE played a pivotal role in the future of this company when, in
1964, she gave birth to its Artistic Director and founding-member.  Her stage
debut came in 1986, as Aunt Em in
The Wizard of Oz, making a comeback in
the mid-1990s, establishing herself as a character actor in
Mame, Cinderella
and then, alongside her husband (and son) in Damn Yankees, High Society,
and The Happiest Millionaire where she played the bitch and loved every
minute of it!.  But her favourite role was that of Mrs. Higgins in
My Fair Lady
where she played mother to her real-life son, the role she was born to play!
