Andrew Chan
ANDREW CHAN, harpist, has performed widely in Canada and in the US. Since
relocating to Toronto, he has been freelancing around Ontario and performing
regularly with the Oshawa Durham Symphony Orchestra and the Brampton
Symphony Orchestra. Recent appearances include performances of concertos
by Handel and Michael Conway Baker, and the premiere of Fantasy for Flute
and Harp with Orchestra by Chinese composer Mizi Tan. Other than his
teaching engagement at the Carleton University in 2009, he maintains two
private studios in Toronto and in Kingston, introducing the harp to students of
